‘UP Police was harassed by criminals before 2017, now a model for the country,’ said CM Yogi Latest Rags


UP CM Yogi Adityanath: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday flagged off Modern Prison Vans for 56 districts. During this, he said- ‘This modern police van equipped with advanced security provision, real time monitoring, better supervision as well as emergency alarm system is a part of the government’s vision to modernize the state police force.’

CM Yogi further said- Due to the efforts made in the last five years, today the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh is working as a ‘model’ in front of the country and the world. The CM made a scathing attack on the previous governments and said- ‘Before 2017, anarchy, hooliganism and riots were at their peak in Uttar Pradesh. The state was ruled by criminals who harassed the police force. Police used to run and criminals used to run. Today there is rule of law in UP and the law and order situation here has become a model for the country.

UP becomes preferred investment destination today

The CM further said- The state government has worked hard in the last five years to modernize and transform the police force through various reforms. Timely recruitment, training of police personnel, establishment of forensic labs, cyber police stations were created. This is the reason why Uttar Pradesh has become the most preferred investment destination at present.

Police and forensic institute being set up in UP

The CM said that the government completed the timely recruitment of about 1.56 lakh police personnel. Vacant posts were filled in the police force and work was done to connect the police with technology. Yogi said that the government is also setting up Uttar Pradesh’s first police and forensic institute in Lucknow which will play an effective role in controlling crime and will efficiently train the youth.

Creating trust and confidence in the minds of people

Yogi said- ‘The police force of UP is not only the largest police force in the country, but through this police force, a sense of confidence and security is being created in the minds of 25 crore people of the state.’
