The statement of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has come about the action of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on people associated with PFI (Popular Front of India) and their locations. He said that there should be zero tolerance regarding communalism. Rahul Gandhi said these things while interacting with the media in Ernakulam, Kerala.

Let us inform that during the raids in many states of the country on Thursday, more than 100 people of PFI have been arrested. The NIA had made full preparations to carry out this mega operation. This operation was kept highly confidential. Monitoring of this biggest operation is being done by creating a control room. Not only NIA but also other investigative agencies are involved in this operation.

At the same time, regarding the election of Congress President, Rahul Gandhi clearly said that he stands by his old stand, that is, he will not contest for the post of President. Rahul said that the post of Congress President is not of an organization but of ideology. So my advice is that whoever becomes the President of the Congress, he should remember that he will represent an ideology, a belief system and a vision of India.

Regarding the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul said that the success of the Yatra is based on some ideas. The first idea is that an India stands united, not at war with itself, not angry with loved ones, not full of hatred. This journey is something that most of the Indian people appreciate and love.

He said that there are two other ideas which are taking the journey forward. One is the level of unemployment that India is facing today. The second issue is of prices. It is these ideas that are driving and encouraging the journey. These ideas are intertwined.

Let us inform that the notification for the election of the President of Congress has been issued.
