We have been hearing the rumors of Prince Harry & Megan Markle moving out of Kensington Palace & turns out that it is not a rumor. The news is true, and soon Prince Harry & his wife would be moving out of the Royal Palace & residing in their new abode.
The official residence is not quite far from London. It is situated in Windsor on the grounds of Frogmore Estate. It is the same place where the couple’s wedding reception took place. Their engagement pictures were also shot on the same property.
Reportedly, there are only two rooms at the current residence in comparison to 10 at Frogmore on the Windsor estate, which might be one of the reasons to move. The arrival of their first child has called the need for moving out of the Palace.
It is believed the home is all set for a makeover to refurbish it as per the couple’s choice. The Frogmore cottage will be transformed in a comfy house with gym and yoga studio as preferred by Megan Markle. The royal couple has planned to shift early next year.
The estate was first purchased for royal use by Queen Charlotte in 1790. The Frogmore House is situated near Frogmore cottage and has been serving as the final resting place for most royals of the last century.
Prince William and Kate Middleton shall continue to live at Kensington Palace with Prince George and Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. In fact, Prince William and Kate Middleton did the same thing in the early years of Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s lives. They too shifted to Norfolk and moved back to London in early 2017.
Whatever be the trend for the royal family, we just wish happiness and comfort to Megan & Harry, wherever they reside. Hope they have a happy life in their new abode!
