After the viral video scandal of girls in Mohali, the university administration has suspended two hostel wardens. One of these wardens was seen in the viral video, who was thrashing the accused student. Earlier, classes on the campus were suspended for six days.

The university administration has suspended the warden of Le Carboiser Hostel, Rajwinder Kaur, who made controversial remarks about girls’ clothes. On the other hand, the warden also allegedly asked the girls to remove the video from their mobile phones.
It is alleged that the student recorded 50-60 video clips of the girls living with her while taking a bath and sent them to her boyfriend living in Shimla. After this the boy allegedly uploaded the video clips on social media. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has ordered a high-level inquiry in this matter.
Classes suspended for 6 days
The university administration has suspended classes for six days. Many students are leaving the university campus. After the administration accepted all the demands, the students ended their protest at around 1.30 pm. After this incident, all the wardens of the hostel are being transferred. Along with this, the timings of the hostel have also changed.
Boyfriend of accused arrested on Sunday
On September 18, many students staged a day-long protest in the university. Here, the police launched a campaign in Shimla in search of the boyfriend and in the evening he was arrested. Now the boyfriend is being questioned in the hope that some more important revelations can be made in the case. After the arrest of the boyfriend, on the night of 18 September, the police took a 31-year-old man into custody in Shimla. This person is also being questioned.
Student’s mobile sent for investigation: SSP
According to Mohali SSP Vivek Soni, the mobile phone of the accused student will be sent for forensic examination. The accused student has told in the interrogation that he has not recorded the video of any other student. Now we are also investigating in this matter and trying to find out why the videos were sent there?
