Earthquake tremors were felt in Ladakh on Monday. It is being told that these tremors were felt in Kargil, Ladakh at 9.30 am. The magnitude of the earthquake was 4.3 on the Richter scale. According to the National Center for Seismology, the epicenter of the earthquake was 10 km below the ground.

Earlier on Saturday-Sunday, there were three terrible earthquakes in Taiwan in 24 hours. There was a lot of damage in these earthquakes. Roads have been broken in many places in Taiwan. Bridges have fallen. Trains had come off the tracks. Due to the breakdown of the bridge, many vehicles fell under the bridge. Due to the earthquakes, a tsunami alert was issued from Taiwan to Japan. The magnitude of these earthquakes ranged from 6.4 to 7.2.

According to the information, the epicenter of the earthquake was at 189 km north of Alchi (Leh) and its depth was 10 km below the ground.

The National Center for Seismology has recorded 107 earthquakes in India and surrounding countries in August. Of these, 99 came in different states of India. The magnitude of the earthquake in India was measured between 3.0-3.9 and 4.0-4.9.

There were 14 earthquakes in Jammu and Kashmir in August. All these earthquakes were of magnitude 2.6 to 4.1. Out of 14 earthquakes, 9 times occurred in Doda. 3 times in Udhampur, 2 times in Kishtwar. The highest intensity earthquake occurred in Doda on 24 August.
